KDC member, Rebecca R. Schafer, is now practicing at Reminger Co., LPA in Louisville.

The KDC Board of Directors met on Saturday, January 25, 2014 for a quarterly Board meeting and the annual Board retreat.  At the onset of the meeting, the following individuals were voted onto KDC's Board:

District 2 - Jacinta Porter of Bell Orr Ayers & Moore, Bowling Green; Jacinta replaces Beth Lochmiller who is now a KDC officer.

District 3 - Clayton Oswald of Taylor Keller & Oswald PLLC, London; Clayton replaces Martha Brown whose term expired.

Director at Large - Trent Spurlock of Huddleston Bolen, Louisville

Additionally, Todd Page of Stoll Keenon Ogden, Lexington repositioned from Director at Large to Director for District 5; Todd replaces Timothy Davis who relocated to Texas.

 

 

A Deposition Boot Camp, being organized by the YLS Committee of KDC, will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The Marriott Griffin Gate Lexington.  In an effort to support the USA's Going Green program, materials will be placed in a portal for everyone to secure and/or print on their own.

KDC welcomes its newest member, John Lawrence Forgy of L. Forgy & Associates, Frankfort.  Mr. Forgy is a 1996 Universit of Kentucky Law School graduate.  His practice involves the nursing home litigation.  Mr. Forgy is a member of DRI.

Edward O’Brien of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, Louisville, is a 2013 University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law graduate. Mr. O’Brien practices in the areas of Appellate, Business Litigation, Contract, Employment, General Liability, Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home.  He is sponsored by KDC member, Stephanie Carr.
